- Schorschbräu’s Schorschbock 57
This is one of the strongest beers available at the moment and is part of an arms race that has been going on between Brewmister, BrewDog, and Schorschbräu to brew the strongest beer. Though the German brewer wanted a higher ABV, these were not feasible as it would have violated the 500-year Germanic beer purity law. Only 36 bottles of the Schorschbräu Schorschbock 57 were ever made. With ABV by 57.5%, the beer was priced $ 275 per bottle.

The ingredients of this classy and costly beer comprise of the Vienna, Moravian, Caramel, Bavarian smoked malt along with fermented fruit that makes it taste distinctive and elusive than other beer brands. Crown Ambassador Reserve (9.2% ABV) is a full-bodied, rich lager-style beer. Each bears the signature of Master Brewer – John Cozens – who meticulously oversees the entire brewing process. - Carlsberg’s Jacobsen Vintage
The beer was matured in Swedish and French oak barrels for six months before being bottled. Only 600 bottles each year were produced during the three years Carlsberg brewed this variety, from 2008 to 2010. According to brewmaster Morten Ibsen, the taste experience is both full and nuanced. “The beer has a golden, bubbly appearance. It gives a warm feeling on the palate and has a nearly ‘fat’ fullness that reveals the beer’s close kinship with sweet desert wines.” Price: $400 per bottle
