ZION NATIONAL PARK
Located less than three hours from Las Vegas, Zion National Park features some of the most breathtaking views, with red rock cliffs, waterfalls, and some amazing vistas. Zion Canyon is renowned to have some amazing sites in the park along with the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which follows the valley floor. From hiking trails to rock climbing, from mountain biking to bouldering, there is a heap of fun to be had in Utah’s favourite national park. One of the most iconic spots in Zion National Park is the Emerald Pools.
MOAB ADVENTURE CENTRE
The area offers endless opportunities for hiking, biking, rafting, off-road adventures. The rolling petrified dunes and surrounding mountains provide breathtaking scenery and offer a playground for all kinds of outdoor pursuits. Although the town is known among mountain bikers for being the home of the famous and challenging Slickrock Trail, you can find trails here for all levels of bikers. When it comes to hiking, the trails in the nearby parks offer amazing scenery, including Utah’s famous Delicate Arch. You’ll also find some incredible campgrounds near Moab.
CANYONLANDS BALLOONING
The place can be easily termed as Utah’s Grand Canyon. The park is divided into three sections but the main portion, which attracts the majority of sightseers, is Island in the Sky. This area offers incredible vistas looking out over carved canyons and beyond to the snow-capped mountains. These areas are more remote. One of the main attractions in Island in the Sky is Mesa Arch. This beautiful stone arch, particularly stunning in the early morning hours or late afternoon, forms a window to the canyons, buttes, and torn landscape below.
GLENCANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA
Spread over 1.2 million acres, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area offers innumerable opportunities for water-based & backcountry recreation spreading from Lees Ferry in Arizona to the Orange Cliffs of southern Utah, encompassing scenic vistas, geologic wonders, and a vast panorama of human history. Lake Powell offers some of the nation’s finest fishing, for striped bass, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, catfish, crappie, and northern pike. Other recreational activities include boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving and swimming.
