The World’s Most Expensive Wedding Cake, priced at $1 million

The thought of any big fast weddings brings everything lavish in minds, be it the venue, the groom and brides’ attire, flowers and food

One thing gets completely side-lined is the wedding cake. Dubai’s Debbie Wingham has perfectly handcrafted the world’s most expensive cake and its priced at a whopping $1 million. The cake in question is not a traditional tier cake but it looks like fully dressed bride dressed in a white wedding dress, headscarf and holding a bouquet of flowers. Adding to the luxury element is the addition of edible diamonds. It took artisans 10 days to decorate the cake and consist of 5,000 edible flowers and tiny pearls that are all hand-made. The cake also has 50 kg of lacy confectionery and three-carat diamonds. In total the cake weighs a total of 120 kg and took at 182cm in height. The cake was showcased at a bridal showcase called Bride in Dubai World Trade Center.
