1860

The company was established by Edouard Heuer in 1860 and would reply on two foundations – family leadership and technical innovations. These foundations served the company well, both in the early years and in the decades that would follow.

1887

TAG Heuer revolutionised the watch making industry by developing the oscillating pinion, which guaranteed the high precision of chronographs.

1916

TAG Heuer created the Mikrograph to measure athletic performance, the world’s first stopwatch accurate to a hundredth of a second.

1962

The TAG Heuer 2915A by John Glenn was the first Swiss watch to go into space.

1969

Thanks to the Caliphr 11 movement, the joint venture was lead by Heyer, became the world’s first first watch to offer automatic chronographs.

2004

TAG Heuer developed and marketed the Monaco V4, an Haute Horlogerie watch reminiscent of a racing car.

2020

TAG Heuer launches a new generation of luxury connected watches, calibrated for performance and sport.
