Samatavam Pure Launches Leisurewear from Natural Fibres

So, it was only natural to take a step ahead and work with plant based ethically sourced fabrics. Accelerating this thought process further, the label has produced a line called Samatvam Pure, made out of natural fibres. The label is all set to introduce its impressive new line of clothing that has been effortlessly curated with the usage of pure fibres. The line of clothing is fabricated from plants such as Orange, Aloe Vera, Eucalyptus and Banana fibres. Garments constructed with these pure fibres are environmentally friendly and 100 percent Vegan.

The new collection not only utilizes diversely advantageous natural fibres such as Aloe Vera, Banana, Eucalyptus and Orange, but it also reflects a pattern of playfulness in its designs. These plants are infamously known for beauty treatments and ailments. But what we don’t know is that, Eucalyptus is known relieve stress by imbibing relaxation. Orange fibre fabric on the other hand helps the skin absorb the essential Vitamin C at the same time providing a very soft and silky vibe to the fabric. Just like the Orange fabric, the Banana fabric also have a soft velvet and silk feel to it, as it’s made out of the inner and outer peels of the fruit. Combating humidity and heat together, Aloe Vera, is known to have cool and soothing properties.

Hand Painted whimsical butterflies, blooming and blossoming flowers in dainty bullion stitches, are generously smattered on earthy and pastel hues. As they say, details lie in the exquisite details, delicate French Knots are embroidered into the outfits to offer textured pattern. Another traditional form of hand embroidery Aari work is sewed extensively against the bodice. Same tone colour palette is ulitised in the silhouettes.

Anjali speaking about her new line Pure, “The clothing line was conceptualised during the lockdown. Seeing how our lives were changed, from our clothes, to our eating habits our work culture, everything took a 180-degree turn. This influenced my thought process towards a more sustainable lifestyle with a holistic approach. During this pandemic, I realised the true meaning of the concept, Buy Less, Choose Well and make it last”.
