Italian meta luxury brand Visionnaire recently showcased a range of novelties for design enthusiasts to look forward to—including an NFT, a brand new nature-inspired capsule collection, and a special showcase in collaboration with the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, at the top-notch Homo Faber event. The new launches are set to be revealed in June 2022 at the Salone del Mobile—an annual furniture fair held in Milan.
NFT: Apollo del Belvedere
The highlight of the line-up is the introduction of Visionnaire’s first Non-Fungible Token (NFT), to be launched during the 26th edition of MiART in Milan. The NFT expresses the brand’s ongoing dialogue with the avant-garde. Created in collaboration with American Artist Jonathan Monaghan, it reflects the principles of harmony and beauty by aptly portraying Apollo, the mythological Greek archer, as a symbol of aesthetic perfection and the vital tension towards the future. This icon, the Apollo del Belvedere, launches Visionnaire NFT—a project that seeks to establish the Italian furniture brand in the outlands of artistic expression that are not yet fully mapped by the sector.
Starlight: A New Capsule Collection
A new collection reimagines the metropolitan lifestyle through an impactful translation of the natural world into universal symbols that can be seamlessly integrated within living spaces. Developed inside the Maison, under the creative direction of Eleonore Cavalli with design by Fabio Bonfà, the collection—featuring compact pieces that do away with sharp edges in favour of a richly detailed organic aesthetic—is designed for city apartments. The thoughtfully-crafted furniture included in this capsule is meant to add a distinctive but minimalist character to the living room, dining zone, bedroom, and study.
Homo Faber X Michelangelo Foundation
Continuing its tradition of enthusiastic participation in leading international events related to arts, crafts, and design, Visionnaire will display some of its most iconic products at the Home Faber event, which takes place from 10th April to 1st May in Venice, as part of the brand’s collaboration with the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.
“Visionnaire’s participation in Homo Faber marks an important milestone for the brand that for years has focused its attention to international events related to the world of art and culture”, explains Eleonore Cavalli, Visionnaire Art Director. “The brand has tailoring in its DNA gained by extensively sourcing materials and processing techniques, almost an ‘obsession’ of attention to detail and the ability to create unique yet reproducible objects. It makes us proud that we were selected by the curator herself[,] Tapiwa Matsinde[,] allowing us to take part in this heartfelt project made up of ‘maker men’ and ‘know-how’.”
