Elsa is the first hundred per cent organic restaurant to be starred by the Michelin guide. Maya Jah by Maya Bay

A splendid bolt from the treasured kitchens of India, and Morocco, Maya Jah arrives in the same avenue as Maya Bay. Maya Jah proposes a kitchen with exotic flavors, orchestrated by the authentic Indian Master Chef, Ravinder Negi, who sumptuously curates’ traditional recipes. The traditional tandoor plays a pivotal role in most of the prized preparations here, including prawn’s tandoor, suwa-sarson tandoori, dum subz biryani and semolina. Pools of amber hug the nooks and corners as the soft lighting envelopes the guests in a warm embrace. Maya specializes in a contemporary twist to traditional fare.

 

Ômer at Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo

 Alain Ducasse’s second offering, Ômer is another heady Mediterranean adventure. Perched at the garden of the hotel, the lazy relaxed vibe exudes itself beautifully at Omer as flavors from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon as well as Morocco and Tunisia with a tinge of Spain and Malta fuse deliciously in the menu. Set on the garden level of the new Rotunda wing of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the restaurant is reminiscent of a boat. Made up of three alcoves and a stunning ‘Wine Circle’, it overlooks the hotel’s lush gardens, which themselves offer views of the Mediterranean. Here, the atmosphere is warm and casual, with a delightful taste of the good life.

 

Mada One at One Monte Carlo

Located at the novel establishment; One Monte Carlo, circling the concept of ‘snackonomy’, Mada One is a café, bistro and bakery – all rolled into one great gastronomic experience.  A casual fine dine space with fabulous nibbles, Mada One is a must visit. This place is in the heart of One Monte Carlo district, the newest establishment in the principality of Monaco. Risotto Arborio with prawns and cocoa nibs, spicy avocado feroce, smoked salmon or halloumi, classic fish fingers and French fries are rave worthy. Chef Marcel Ravin stuns with his special dishes, especially the Monegu; a travel cake inspired by breads brioche and patterone. Mada One is a café, a bistro and a bakery all at the same time, with dishes highlighting good, natural ingredients and combination of flavours.
