Decoding Tech Leadership at the ReTechCon 2019

On September 18th and 19th 2019, The Retailers Association of India (RAI) organized the 14th edition of the “ReTechCon 2019”.

 

The Retailer’s Association of India (RAI), a non-profit modernizing organization for the retail industry of India, recently organized the ReTechCon 2019 at the Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai. India’s largest conglomerate of CIOs/CTOs, business heads, technology service providers and experts in retail came together for the evening. 

 

Themed Technology Driven Leadership – The Algorithm of Success, the conclave’s focus was to help retailers understand technology and how to adapt to them as per the benefit of the producers as well as consumers. Various aspects of retail technology were touched on during the event – Customer Experience, Tech-Driven Innovation, Digital Retail Transformation and Omni-Channel Retail.

 

Kumar Rajagopalan, Chief Executive Officer, Retailers Association of India (RAI) spoke on the occasion, “Businesses have had to rethink their relationship with consumers at every stage of the buying cycle—from discovery, transaction right up to post-purchase engagement. Whether they realise it or not, most organisations in today’s connected economy are already going through some kind of a tech-driven transformation.”
