Carl F. Bucherer Revisits History with The Heritage Bicompax Annual timepiece

The latest addition to the Carl F. Bucherer Heritage collection is not just a look back at the watchmaker’s own history, but also an ode to the zeitgeist of the 1950s.

Last year, Carl F. Bucherer launched its Heritage line as an ode to both the rich tradition of the Swiss watchmaker and Carl F. Bucherer’s roots in Lucerne, Switzerland. This year, the horology brand unveils its latest addition to the line – The Heritage Bicompax Annual.

  • The models’ introduced are in two different versions – rose-and-champagne and silver.
  • The watches are limited to 888 precious pieces only.
  • It takes the shape of its predecessor, but is evolved to a modern 41 mm diameter stainless steel case and with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
  • The bicolor model features a rose-and-champagne dial with the bezel, push buttons, and crown crafted from 18k rose gold.
  • The stainless steel model boasts a silver dial, black totalizators, and a structured rubber strap.

  • Both watches are powered by the CFB 1972 caliber automatic movement and 42 hours of power reserve capacity.
  • Just like its predecessor, the newest timepieces feature the iconic BiCompax display and tachymeter scale.
  • An annual calendar has been embedded in both watches, displaying a large date above the center and the month between 4 and 5 o’clock.
  • The calfskin strap wraps in cognac brown and the embossed rubber in black.

A successful amalgamation of vintage and modern elements, the Heritage BiCompax Annual makes a worthy addition to the iconic Heritage line of Carl F. Bucherer.
