Arriving with an array of new technology, refined engine, the A8L is most likely to be sold as a CBU.
The Ingolstadt based luxury carmaker; Audi has finally launched its fourth-generation flagship model – A8L in India priced at Rs. 1.56 crore (ex-showroom). The limousine comes with an all new-exterior exterior and a cabin that is loaded with technology with a completely refined engine.
The new A8L will come to India as a long-wheelbase model with a wide range of smart and modern technologies. On the inside, the A8L gets Audi’s new 10.1-inch touchscreen display and Virtual Cockpit that connects the both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Audi’s new MMI Navigation Plus navigation system and ambient lighting. The second touchscreen is used to operate the climate control system as well as enter texts through handwriting gestures.
Powering this ostentatious limousine is 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine producing 340 horsepower and 500Nm of torque with a mild hybrid technology 48V electric motor. The engine is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission with lock-up clutch with standard quattro all-wheel drive system.
