This series explores the resilience of women in middle-class households, focusing on their daily rituals, domestic roles, and connection to the concept of “Bari” (home). Through intimate scenes of daily life, the artwork portrays women’s challenges within familial roles and their relationship to land and tradition. Drawing from the artist’s personal experiences, the series reflects on the emotional and psychological landscapes that shape these women, symbolised by the recurring use of red soil to represent ancestral roots and cultural heritage.
