CHOPARD
Having achieved a 100% ethical gold supply chain since 2018, as part of its Journey to Sustainable Luxury, Chopard in conjunction with the Swiss Better Gold Association (SBGA), will see the luxury watch and jewelry Maison sourcing gold from the Barequeros in El Chocó, Colombia. This value chain is part of a broader program supported by the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the SBGA to foster responsible and small-scale gold miners.
PANERAI
The Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteelTM recognizes the critical importance of sustainability goals while maintaining the brand’s established design codes and technical finesse. 72g of the Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteelTM is made of recycled materials, corresponding to 52% of the total weight of the watch (that is 137g). eSteelTM has the same properties as conventional steel, including identical chemical behavior, physical structure and resistance to corrosion, making the metal a natural companion for the iconic Submersible collection of diving watches.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS
Since its inception, the adidas Originals Stan Smith has reigned supreme as the ultimate white leather sneaker – passed down through generations as an icon of modern design. The sneakers feature a PRIMEGREEN upper completed with a recycled rubber tooling, boasting the silhouette’s classic green and white colorway along with added elements that signify the importance of our environment and sustainability being the need of the hour. The pairs come packaged in the classic adidas Originals blue box, which has already been updated to be composed of more than 90% recycled paper.
UNIQLO
UNIQLO believes that the best jeans are not only comfortable and stylish, but also produced in factories that consider the environment and protect the human rights of the people who make them. In line with their ethos, the brand relies on the Jeans Innovation Center that developed an original washing method that incorporates new technologies into high-performance washing machines which, in principle, do not consume water. The core technology is a combination of nano-bubbles and waterless ozone cleaning. Following two years of research and development, the facility has succeeded in reducing water use in the jeans washing process by as much as 99% and more than 90% on average!

The Macallan’s sustainability strategy is wide-reaching – incorporating a number of elements including nurturing The Macallan Estate to protect Easter Elchies for future generation, creating responsible packaging, partnering with sustainable suppliers to sustain the forests and fields where wood and barley are sourced, fusing traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the art engineering to deliver a time-honored whisky making process that is sustainable by design, and supporting positive progress in its key communities.
BIRKENSTOCK
BIRKENSTOCK has introduced a wide range of Vegan Styles to support a sustainable lifestyle choice. The range uses materials that are devoid of animal products as verified by several independent testing laboratories. The vegan materials include Birko-Flor, Nubuck Leather, and Textile. Birko-Flor is a skin-friendly, durable, and synthetic material that is exclusively used by BIRKENSTOCK. It is tear-resistant and easy to care for, which makes it long- lasting and low-maintenance. The high-quality materials are sustainably and responsibly sourced and produced. Constant checks have been undergone to check skin compatibility.
UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON
As the Greenpeace global detox leader and Fashion Transparency Index’s top Italian fashion brand for transparency, the Benetton Group has been a member of the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), the world’s largest program dedicated to the sustainability of cotton since 2017. The brand aims to achieve 100% sustainable cotton (organic, recycled and BCI) in its collections by 2025. Moreover, when you buy something from a United Colors of Benetton store, you receive your purchase in an eco-friendly paper shopper bag – processed using only water-based ink and from an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper mill.
L’OCCITANE
The French beauty giant not only offers eco-refills but also much of the brand’s packaging is made with recycled materials or uses resources that are renewable or from sustainably managed forests. The eco-refills are made with clever design, easy to pour and therefore replenish your favorite product. Thanks to the Eco-Refills, it saves up to 80% of the plastic used for the original product.
VAHDAM INDIA
One of the fastest growing homegrown brands, VAHDAM India continues to be a plastic neutral brand for 3 years now. The company has a net-zero plastic footprint brand by offsetting their plastic usage through investments in the Neela Sagar project in Hyderabad, India. VAHDAM India also works with rePurpose Global, a leading Plastic Action Platform, to calculate, reduce, and offset their plastic footprint while supporting grassroots innovators in solving plastic waste issues. The company is actively working on developing packaging materials and designs that use lesser plastic, a higher proportion of recyclable plastic, and environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. It aims to attain zero-plastic in their packaging by 2025.
