In a landmark collaboration, Bollywood star and Michael Kors ambassador Anushka Sharma has unveiled her exclusive limited-edition timepiece, marking the first time a female Indian celebrity has launched a signature watch. Anushka expressed her excitement, saying, “Designing my own watch with Michael Kors was an incredibly rewarding experience. I wanted to create something that reflects both my style and the significance of a watch in my life.” The watch features a sleek 32x27mm stainless steel case, a rich forest green dial, and her signature engraved on the case back. Limited to 500 units, the watch is a collector’s piece. The launch was celebrated with a private event at JW Marriott, Mumbai, attended by select influencers.

5. Anantara Ubud Bali Resort opens soon, bringing luxury to Bali’s Hinterland
Bali is all set to welcome Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, another tropical retreat in the traditional hillside village of Banjar Puhu. The resort features 85 modern suites and pool villas along with 15 branded residences, all cascading down a densely forested hill towards a mountain stream. There’s a separate space for everyone in the villa, whether it’s a kids’ club for young travellers or two heated swimming pools, adult-only and family. 7. Jimmy Choo Unveils its Autumn 2024 Campaign
Jimmy Choo unveils Winona Ryder as the face of its Autumn 2024 campaign, “Glamour Refined,” photographed by Paris-based Art Director Ezra Petronio. The campaign, inspired by the minimalist style and cultural shift of the late ’90s, features striking visuals that highlight the brand’s signature footwear, bags, and eyewear collection. Ryder, an Academy Award-nominated actress known for iconic roles in Beetlejuice and Stranger Things, brings her timeless charisma and edgy elegance to the campaign. Creative Director Sandra Choi reflects on Winona’s ‘90s influence, perfectly embodying the collection’s reimagined classics and bold red accents.
8. Opulin showcases Utopia and Utility’s Branch Bowl Collection
Opulin introduces the Branch Bowl Collection from Utopia and Utility, a perfect blend of nature and contemporary design. Handcrafted with exceptional European craftsmanship, each piece features a mouth-blown glass body from Britain paired with hand-shaped wood sourced from a single branch in Germany. The unique process ensures no two bowls are identical, highlighting the wood’s natural grain and creating a visually stunning and functional design. 9. Looking ahead to a month full of celebrations as Masque turns 8
Masque is celebrating its 8th birthday with a month-long series of events and a new menu by Chef Varun Totlani. The restaurant’s lab, Masque Lab, is taking centre stage with collaborations featuring regional cuisines and home chefs. Highlights include Chef Ahmedaki Laloo showcasing Meghalayan cuisine on September 7th, Mrs. Naheta offering a Rajasthani thali on September 14th, and the Chefs of Koliwada presenting coastal dishes on September 20th. On September 24th, Kopitiam Lah brings Malaysian flavours to Mumbai for the first time. The month wraps up with a special eight-dessert collaboration between pastry chefs Vinesh Johny and Varun Totlani on September 27th. Chef Totlani’s new menu explores Indian micro-cuisines, home rituals, and tribal wisdom. Expect bold flavours and innovative uses of seasonal ingredients throughout the 10-course tasting menu.
10. Victorinox Unveils the Airox Advanced Luggage Collection
Victorinox unveiled its Airox Advanced Luggage Collection in a stylish event at The Palladium, featuring Bollywood star Tahir Raj Bhasin on the runway. The collection, known for its sleek design and matte finish in Black, Storm, and Stone White, was showcased in a unique fashion show using escalators as runways. Designed for modern travellers, the lightweight suitcases offer functionality, with features like a dual-telescopic handle system, Butterfly Opening System, antimicrobial lining, and expandable space. The collection, available in various sizes, reflects Victorinox’s commitment to quality, style, and innovation.
11. Art and Cuisine Come Together at Raffles Hotel Le Royal
Restaurant Le Royal at Raffles Hotel Le Royal is hosting a special collaboration featuring the work of Khmer painter Chhim Sothy, whose paintings graced the exhibitions across Cambodia, South Eastern Asia, Paris and the U.S. exhibition will run for three months and showcase Sothy’s distinctive blend of traditional Cambodian themes and modern European techniques. To complement the exhibition, the restaurant has launched a new modern Khmer menu featuring dishes inspired by local flavours. The collaboration with The Gallerist Art Gallery highlights the connection between art and cuisine and offers visitors a unique cultural experience.
12. Method celebrates 5 years with the “Portrait of a Time” art show
Method celebrates its 5th anniversary with “Portrait of a Time,” a showcase of 40 artists Method has collaborated with in the past and will work with in the future. Each artist was tasked with creating a piece inspired by the word “Portrait,” resulting in diverse and unique interpretations. Inspired by the dimensions of the Mona Lisa, the show merges nostalgia with fresh perspectives. Launched by Sahil Arora in 2019, Method was born from the desire to create a space for urban and alternative art. The exhibition runs from August 30th to September 29th at Method, Kalaghoda and Bandra.
