The place gives you abundant options of thrilling rides and quiet nature walks in the forest. One can reach easily Kuruva Island from Mananthavady which 17km east of Kuruva Island.

Smallest town in Wesern Ghats, Courtallam is a waterfall zone and is the source of perennial rivers like Chittar River, Manimutharu, Pachaiyar and Tamirabarani. With recent increase in Spas and Health Resort and numerous waterfalls and cascades, it has named as Spa of South India.
Dudhsagar Falls, Goa
With the spectacular height 1017 ft, Dudhsagar falls, as the name goes the majestic cascade of white water, which gushes over the steep, nearly vertical face of the mountain. Though reaching here during monsoon is difficult but sheer majesty and splendor of the wild nature is worth a visit.
Located in the laps of the spellbound Sahyadri ranges, Durshet is covered with thick forest. The deep woods combined with Tranquil and pleasant atmosphere along with flowing Amba River this is a perfect monsoon getaway. One can enjoy the trekking through the greenery and waterfalls along with the adventurous activities like rappelling, river crossing and rock climbing. The place is filled with wide variety of flora which is a home for birds and beautiful butterflies.
