This level of convenience and personalisation is now a reality, as manufacturers incorporate AI into their products, thereby making our homes smarter than ever.

GE is introducing a new over-the-air software upgrade for owners of select wall ovens with Cookcam AI. The new breakthrough AI function detects what is being cooked and automates the rest. Using the images from the in-oven cameras, it expertly identifies your food and proposes the optimal Precision Cooking Mode, resulting in consistently superb results.
After placing the food in the oven and closing the door, the camera captures images of the oven cavity and utilises AI and machine learning to detect and identify the food. Within a few seconds, the oven will chime and recommend a specific Precision Cooking Mode on its LCD touchscreen, and cooking will begin with just a few touches.
Samsung 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator
Another significant player using generative AI in home appliances is Samsung. An excellent illustration is the Samsung 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub Plus. With its large screen, this smart fridge can track your shopping lists, recommend recipes based on what’s in it, and even assist you with grocery ordering.
