4. AMIRI Makes a Glamorous Entrance with its First Indian Retail Store in New Delhi

AMIRI has officially landed in India, marking its debut with the opening of its first retail store at The Chanakya in New Delhi. The highly anticipated launch was celebrated with an exclusive in-store event, giving guests a taste of the brand’s unmistakable Hollywood glamour. Spanning 1,154 square feet, the store’s interiors exude AMIRI’s signature West Coast charm. Hand-designed wave-patterned walls, an ocean-blue hand-tufted carpet, and warm accents of polished wood and velvet create a space that reflects the brand’s California roots. It’s a seamless fusion of laid-back luxury and contemporary style. The evening saw over 175 guests, including some of India’s most recognisable names like Shubman Gill, Shanaya Kapoor, and Anand Ahuja, many of whom donned pieces from AMIRI’s Autumn-Winter 2024 collection, effortlessly channelling the brand’s Hollywood-inspired aesthetic.

6. EL&N London Makes its Indian Debut at the Jio World Plaza, Mumbai

Continuing its mission to innovate Indian cocktail culture, Stranger & Sons teams up with Subko Coffee to introduce the FILTR Martini—a unique ready-to-drink cocktail inspired by South Indian Filter Coffee. Blending Stranger & Sons gin with Subko’s specialty coffee, the FILTR Martini reimagines the classic Espresso Martini, offering a bold yet balanced flavour profile. Complete with a frothy layer and a vanilla garnish spray, this cocktail pays homage to the beloved Kaapi ritual at Udupi Darshinis. Available in Goa and Maharashtra, the FILTR Martini is part of the Stranger & Sons’ ‘Incahoots’ series, following the success of their Perry Road Peru collaboration.

8. Zara Launches a Diwali Capsule Collection In Collaboration with Artist Jayesh Sachdev

To get into the festive spirit, Zara has collaborated with multi-hyphenated artist Jayesh Sachdev to unveil a limited-edition capsule collection titled ‘Reverie.’ The ‘Reverie’ collection aims to evoke a sense of wonder and magic, making high fashion accessible to all, irrespective of their background. Central to this collaboration is a stunning 10-foot sculpture of a tiger, which serves as the pièce de résistance of the project. 9. Levi’s Launches Dil-Luminati Tour Merchandise to Celebrate Diljit Dosanjh’s India Tour

Levi’s is elevating its iconic connection to music with an exclusive merch drop in collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh, just in time for his highly anticipated Dil-Luminati India Tour. 10. Indianama 2024: “Lost and Found” Exhibition at Method Kala Ghoda

For the first time, Method Kala Ghoda will host Indianama, a creative initiative by the New Delhi-based agency Animal. The 2024 edition, themed “Lost and Found,” explores India’s evolving identity through 40 artist-designed stamps that depict aspects of the country either lost to history or recently rediscovered. Running from October 25th to November 2nd, this exhibition invites reflection on India’s cultural crossroads, bridging the past, present, and future. Indianama, launched in 2016, is known for its thematic exploration of Indian history and society through contemporary design, sparking thought-provoking discussions on the nation’s identity and artistic expression.

11. Ansh Kumar’s “Absolute” Exhibition at Method Bandra

This October, Method Bandra invites art enthusiasts to experience Absolute, a captivating solo exhibition by Ansh Kumar. Known for his mastery of serigraphs on paper and glass, Kumar delves deep into the human condition, playing with the boundaries of identity and connection. His works blur the lines between abstraction and the human form, evoking the complexities of how we relate to one another. With shifting shapes that collide and pull apart, “Absolute” reflects the fluid nature of personal and societal interactions. The exhibition offers a thought-provoking visual narrative, encouraging visitors to reflect on the way we, as individuals, exist in constant relation to others. Running from October 18th to November 21st, this is an exhibition that promises to challenge and intrigue, leaving a lasting impression on all who attend.

12. Prabhakar Kolte Hosts a Solo Exhibition at Gallery G, Bangalore

For the first time, Bengaluru will witness the mesmerising abstract works of renowned artist Prabhakar Kolte in his solo exhibition “Chromatic Rhythms” at Gallery G. Often hailed as the “Paul Klee of India,” Kolte’s mastery of abstraction comes alive through vibrant layers of colour and texture, evoking a rhythmic harmony akin to musical compositions. His paintings are not just visual pieces but poetic reflections of the human psyche, drawing viewers into contemplative meditations. With his innovative use of “weathering” techniques and dynamic brushstrokes, Kolte’s works create a sense of time and space in flux. The exhibition runs from October 20th to November 22nd, 2024.
