Breitling announces the launch of its Breitling Superocean Heritage ’57 Capsule Collection, whose watches take their design inspiration from the brand’s original SuperOcean from 1957. They also embody the cool, laid-back surfing lifestyle of the 1950s and 1960s.
Breitling’s Capsule Collections are produced for a limited time and consequently in a limited volume, but the watches are not numbered. They give the brand a chance to tell specific stories rooted in the history of its core collection. The timepieces in the Superocean Heritage ’57 Capsule Collection are powered by the Breitling Caliber 10, which offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
The Collection is available with two dial options, one has a classic black dial and is presented on a black vintage-inspired leather strap with a pin or folding buckle, while the other has a blue dial and is equipped with a brown vintage-inspired leather strap with a pin or folding buckle.

Carl F. Bucherer’s latest model in the popular Heritage collection is a celebration of the design and savoir faire of the early 1950s. Inspired by a historical timepiece from the museum of the watchmaker, the Heritage BiCompax Annual combines an elegant vintage look with sophisticated “Made of Lucerne” Swiss watchmaking heritage. This luxurious chronograph, which features an annual calendar and a BiCompax dial design, is now available in two limited-edition versions. Heritage BiCompax Annual is a modern tribute to the original’s curvaceous design codes and importance in the company’s history.
The Heritage BiCompax Annual combines the vintage flair of the watch that inspired it with contemporary features, such as a 41 mm stainless steel case. The chronograph features the BiCompax dial design of its retro predecessor: two symmetrically arranged totalizators are positioned on the horizontal central axis and framed by a tachymeter scale. It is powered by an ultra-modern automatic movement the CFB 1972 caliber which boasts 42 hours of power reserve.

The 36 mm case of these new jewellery versions of the Happy Sport, also entirely paved with brilliant-cut diamonds, is in 18-carat gold of ethical origin, with a first white gold version ensuring delightful harmony with the sparkle of the diamonds, and a second in rose gold creating stronger contrasts. Beneath the two sapphire crystals staging the dancing diamonds – of which there are seven on these two Happy Sport Joaillerie models – the textured mother-of-pearl dial has been meticulously engraved with a guilloché motif, a token of exquisite craftsmanship testifying to the attention Chopard devotes to detail.
