The Lightest Foldable Bike in the World in collaboration with Paul Smith

Hummingbird in collaboration with Paul Smith has introduced limited editions of the bike

Hummingbird has produced the lightweight foldable bicycles which combines all the key attributes of style, innovation & technical excellence. The bike’s technical engineers are provided from Prodrive, whose clients include Aston Martin, Lotus, Bentley, Jaguar, and many other championships winning race cars, have hand build & sprayed each lightweight carbon frame. The cycle has 3 variations: Single Speed, Multi Speed & Electric.

Hummingbird frames are made out of carbon fibre, an advanced composite material used in aerospace & racing due to its high-performance qualities in terms of weight, stiffness & vibration dampening. Each swingarm is machines from a sold billet of aluminium & anodized to ensure a strong part with a long-lasting finish. Its lightweight wheels allow you to go faster with less effort. The hummlock, Hummingbird’s safety pin, and pivotal system allows the bike easy to carry and foldable in less than five seconds.

Paul Smith chose the single speed model and added his iconic signature Artist Stripe for this limited-edition collaboration. Each of the 50 bikes are hand painted by Silverstone Paint Technology (SPT) which are usually reserved for Formula One race cars to deliver an immaculate finish. The bike can be made to order, individually numbered & comes complete with a certificate of authencity from Paul Smith.

The bike weighs 6.9 kg with easy, medium & fast gearing combinations and costs £ 3,995. The Hummingbird frameset design is a perfect synergy of form and function, aesthetics and technology, designed to be both robust and comfortable to ride. It can be ordered online from the Hummingbird website & delivered worldwide.
