Here’s the Grand Prix Calendar for 2018

Formula One is a sport of intense pace, speed, agility, and technique. A sport of real high-speed whose speed is greatly affected by the design of each race car and the ways in which each team has chosen to interpret the technical regulations issued each year.

Formula one is the highest class of single-seat auto racing sanctioned by FIA. A Formula one season includes a series of races known as Grand Prix, held worldwide over circuits which are purposely-built for high-speed races.

Today’s state-of-the-art venue may be new to younger F1 fans, but Le Castellet can trace its F1 origins back to the early 1970s when it held the first of its 14 French Grands Prix to date. The start of the 21st century saw a rebirth under new ownership, with the transformation of the circuit into the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. In 2016 a deal was struck to return the French Grand Prix to the track, and prior to its 2018 revival, numerous modifications have been made to both the circuit and its setting to ensure a suitably stern challenge for the drivers and an equally thrilling spectacle for race fans.

Formula 1 Grosser Preis Von Österreich: Spielberg; Fri 29 Jun – Sun 01 Jul 2018

The story of the Austrian Grand Prix begins, as with most Grands Prix, with a local group of motor racing enthusiasts in the 1950s, and the first Formula One race was held there in 1970. Over the years, numerous improvement plans for the circuit stalled until it was eventually redeveloped and re-branded as the Red Bull Ring and reopened in 2011, since which time it has hosted series including DTM, World Series by Renault and European Le Mans.

Formula 1 Rolex British Grand Prix: Silverstone; Fri 06 Jul – Sun 08 Jul 2018

Like so many of England’s racing circuits, Silverstone started life as an aerodrome. When the Formula One World Championship was incepted in 1950, Silverstone held the very first round, won by Guiseppe Farina in an Alfa Romeo. In 1951 the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) was handed the lease by the RAC, and huge modifications were made. In 2010 came another major change to the circuit’s Formula One layout, designed to further improve the venue for spectators and provide an even greater driver challenge. With an air show and other frills, this one is the place to be at.

Hungary first hosted a Grand Prix in the 1930s, but following the Second World War and the building of the Iron Curtain, it was not until the 1960s that motorsport began to find a place in the country.Although tight and twisty, the circuit has been known to throw up some great races, the most memorable being Thierry Boutsen’s win in 1990, beating Ayrton Senna by 0.3 seconds, and of course the 1997 race where Damon Hill in the Arrows sensationally passed Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari only to be denied the win by mechanical failure on the very last lap.

Monza is regarded by many as the embodiment of Formula One racing. Not only is it a fantastic example of a track that combines speed with skill, it also has a heart and soul all of its own. It has seen some of the finest races of all time, but also some of the sport’s worst accidents. The names of great drivers and the sounds of engines from years gone by linger in the grand old trees surrounding the track in the royal park.

Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix: Singapore; Fri 14 Sep – Sun 16 Sep 2018

In 2008 Singapore had the honor of hosting the first night-time event in Formula One history. The track has also become a favorite with drivers, featuring some of the F1 calendar’s most challenging corners. Among the most popular are the high-speed 130R and the famous Spoon Curve. Formula 1 Gran Premio De Mexico: Mexico City; Fri 26 Oct – Sun 28 Oct 2018

As the name suggests, the history of Mexico’s Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is interwoven with that of brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodriguez. It was the former’s emergence in 1961, driving for Ferrari aged just 19, that provided the spark, prompting the decision to build a 5-kilometer circuit in the public Magdalena Mixhuca park in the east of Mexico City. And it was the latter’s success later that decade which helped build an incredibly fervent home support for the event.

Formula 1 Grande Premio Do Brasil:São Paulo; Fri 09 Nov – Sun 11 Nov 2018.
