Swirl, Taste…Cherish!

The festive season is here, time for those get-togethers with family and friends where long conversations are accompanied with food and drinks.

This festive season gift your loved ones a range of premium Scotch Whiskies, a pleasure for all whisky connoisseurs who not only understand the craft but also value the carefully created gift packs.

Braes of Glenlivet 30-Year-Old

This is the oldest and the strongest of the three, aged in American oak barrels and hogsheads. Tropical notes on the nose with aromas of mango and root ginger. Fruity flavours intensifying on the palate with juicy orange, blackberry jam and marzipan coming through, resulting in a long-lasting, sweet finish. The natural sweetness of the concentration is balanced by the flavours of the barrels.

GLEN KEITH 28 YEARS

Reopened in 2013 after 14 years, The Glen Keith distillery features tall copper stills. Three whiskies 21 years old, 25 years and 28 years old have rolled out from this distillery. These whiskies have a sweet peach and apricot with notes of cinnamon and lightly toasted oak for the fragrance. The whisky has a fruity taste with vanilla and gingerbread flavours. The final result is a long and sweetened aftertaste with a little spicy note.

CAPEDONICH 30 YEARS

Bigger and much richer with a sweet fragrance of ripe damson plums, pear drop sweets, honey and oak. Where the 21 years aged was slightly subtle, this 30-year-old is much more dominating. The more controlled fruits like apricot, fresh pineapple with a slight note of spices take a small amount of time to come forward, but their presence can be felt.

CAPEDONICH 25 YEARS

The dense fragrance of sweet plum, spices and mulberry are bigger and richer. Orchard fruits presence can be felt with some amount of subtility thus, releasing more tropical fruits. The drink is slightly herbal as mixed with water accentuates the flavours of white flowers and then camomile. Initially, it is the fruits that come up then the notes from the barrels like polished wood. In the end, the drink releases the notes from blackberry and blueberry with notes from bitter dark chocolate.
