Diwali, the festival of lights, is around the corner. Celebrate the auspicious festival and worship Goddess Lakshmi- the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity with a range of exquisitely handcrafted jewels from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jaipur.
Inspired by the imperial royals, spark the festivities by adorning intricately carved jewels for both men and women from Birdhichand.
Exquisite Jewels for Women:
Delhi Durbar Peacock Jhumki: A symbol of pride, opulence, beauty, and royalty, Birdhichand draws inspiration from the national bird of India – Peacock. The Delhi Durbar Peacock motif jhumkis are a touch of Indian and western sensibility by Birdhichand. The peacock motif is carved in ruby and the jhumki is handcrafted with inlay of emeralds. The surface finish is done with 24k gold by a rare technique of ‘Neet’.
Birdhichand Kashmiri Emerald Jhumkis: Bejewelled using Russian emeralds carved and cut in the shape of jhumars and crowned by rubies. The floral motif in the jhumki is created using flat cut and rose cut diamonds. On the periphery, high quality fresh water pearls have been used to add to the imperial feel of the ornament.
Birdhichand Emerald Pankhi Necklace: Inspired by the traditional rajputi ‘Pankhi’ necklace, Birdhichand presents a contemporary adaptation handcrafted with natural gemstones. Carved using ancient technique of ‘jadau’, the polkis are inlayed in natural emeralds in 24k gold. The set is bordered by precious ‘Basra’ pearls to complete the look.
Rajputi Hasli: Inspired by the fusion of Rajput quaint craftsmanship and Mughal culture, the Rajputi Bridal Hasli from Birdhichand’s Delhi Durbar Collection endows brides-to-be with a royal look. Studded with pink sapphires and Columbian emeralds this Hasli is an ideal gift symbolising elegance and royalty.
Delhi Durbar Mughal Handcuff: Inspired by the Mughal garden, Birdhichand handcrafts tulip motifs with far size flat-cut diamonds. To add natural aesthetics to the handcuff, Emeralds and Basra pearls have been included.
Peacock Bracelet: Handcrafted in 18k gold, Birdhichand draws inspiration from the gracious peacock to create a stunning bracelet for their Delhi Durbar Collection.
