Passed off as a fad initially in the 90s, Nikkei cuisine has since evolved into a global culinary phenomenon. Mixing two corners of the world on a plate, the cuisine is an amalgamation of Peruvian and Japanese flavours—think mouthwatering Tiraditos infused with Japanese spices. Over the last few years, Nikkei cuisine has made its presence felt across culinary capitals around the world, and now, ISSEI Dubai, led by renowned Peruvian Chef Luisa Serna, is set to bring this extraordinary dining experience to the culinary capital city of India—Delhi.

Soy X Neung Roi at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport is ready to delight Delhi’s discerning palate through a unique culinary collaboration with ISSEI Dubai from Radisson DAMAC Hills for an exclusive pop-up and six exclusive meals for a limited three days, from August 9 to 11. The ISSEI pop-up at Soy X Neung Roi promises to be an extraordinary event, featuring signature dishes of ISSEI meticulously crafted by Chef Luisa. From delicate Ceviche adorned with vibrant Peruvian sauces to mouth-watering Tiraditos infused with Japanese spices, each bite is a symphony of flavours that would transport the diners to the heart of both cultures.

“Bringing ISSEI to New Delhi is a dream come true for me. It’s an incredible opportunity to share my unique culinary heritage and cooking style with a vibrant and diverse audience,” says Chef Luisa. She is a protégé of the legendary chef Gastón Acurio Pachacutec and the recipient of an internship scholarship at the Michelin-starred Devero in Milan, Italy.

Soy X Neung Roi, celebrated as a culinary landmark in progressive Asian fare, blending the hidden treasures of China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, is the ideal venue for this extraordinary collaboration.

Chef Sreenivasan, the culinary director of Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, expresses his excitement and shares that “I am super-excited & thrilled to bring in ‘Nikkei’ one of the trendiest cuisines to cook up globally today for the first time to the diners in Delhi. I am confident that ISSEI’s exceptional cuisine will take centre stage, where every dish tells a story, a tale of cultural fusion and culinary exploration.”
