Here’s the eminent entrepreneur in conversation with PEAKLIFE…
1.) Indo Innovations is your brainchild. What has the journey been like for you and the brand so far?
To me, it was clear since the beginning that I’ll be joining my father’s business and taking it to new heights. I have studied from the best University in Paris after which I returned to India and started working with my father. In 2009, I introduced INDO. In no time we collaborated with several internationally acclaimed brands from the USA, South Korea, Spain, Germany, New Zealand. Indo Innovation’s journey has been a bumpy ride but the path was definitely worth the hard work. The hard work doesn’t stop here, every day we, at Indo Innovations, strive for more and work hard enough to reach our goals.
2.) When talking about a sustainable vision, what does Indo Innovations has in place?
Our vision is to be a sustainable, reputed and preferred organisation in the constantly evolving modern world. At Indo Innovations, we create a modern work environment in the office. Talking about sustainability, our products are sustainable too. The wide range of our ergonomic chairs not only provides you comfortable seating but also supports your spine leading to a productive day at work.
3.) How has work from home impacted business? Do you think this is the way forward for infrastructure industries?
Yes, like any other industry the pandemic has impacted our business as well. With the announcement of work from home, obviously, the offices stopped giving us orders. However, many people have taken interest in having a home office which helped in sales.
4.) With industries finally opening up, what is the growth plan for Indo Innovations in 2021?
Growth plans for Indo Innovations in 2021 is quite aggressive. We have to cover up for 2020 also. Technology will play a very crucial role in the same. We are in the process of digitalization of Indo Innovations which will in turn help us in boosting our sales.
5.) Lastly, any advice for aspiring entrepreneurs?
Don’t view challenges as hurdles and stay positive. Embrace each challenge as a learning opportunity. When you take small steps, you’ll reach your goals faster as compared to when you take big leaps. This is because you’re still in the learning stage and big leaps will only lead to bigger mistakes. You are bound to come across more stumbling blocks than you thought possible. If you stop seeing these stumbling blocks as hurdles and more as opportunities to learn, you’ll be on your way to successful entrepreneurship.
