Who knew that the Badshah of Bollywood then 18 years old would fall in love with a 14-year-old girl Gauri at the very first look but still would be too shy to approach her? It took him 3 meetings to just ask her the phone number. Whenever he wanted to speak with Gauri he would call at Gauri’s residence and pose as ‘Shaheen’ (fake name). This is how talks began and it was on October 25, 1984, the two went on a first date to Panchsheel Club which is located in Panchsheel Enclave, Delhi taking their friendship a step ahead.

The journey from the ideal couple to #familygoals
Their relationship grew stronger as both shared some of the romantic moments like meeting occasionally at parties, and spending time hanging around in Delhi’s JNU campus, Shah Rukh making history notes for Gauri, and even teaching her how to drive. This perfect love story also faced certain hurdles and a tiny face of separation but how could the ‘King of Romance’ stay always form the lady of his life for long. With a mere 10k in his pocket, Shah Rukh left Delhi and went to Mumbai to apologies Gauri for his over-possessive nature towards her. He finally found her at the Gorai beach and confessed his love for her. After winning the heart of his lady love now it was time to convince Gauri’s parents of their inter-religion union.
After a lot of convincing and hardships, the couple finally tied the knot on October 25, 1991. One of the funny instinct which happened was SRK borrowed a suit from his film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman‘s costume department.
The beautiful couple soon turned in a lovely family setting #familygoals with two sons, Aryan and AbRam and daughter Suhana. In 2016 the couple also celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
The professional and family balance
This power pack couple is a perfect example of everlasting love, professional balance, and family bonding. Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan established the film production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment. She serves as co-chairperson and the main producer of all the films produced under this banner. Shah Rukh also makes efforts to spend quality time with the family planning his schedules.
