Moon Shaped Luxury Resort In Dubai Promises An Unbelievable Experience

Pushing the limits of human innovation, Dubai is ready to invest $5 billion in a luxurious resort which will resemble the moon.

Dubai, which already has the world’s tallest building — the Burj Khalifa–is now expected to get another engineering marvel i.e., a moon-shaped resort soon. It will be affordable space tourism on the ground.

According to an Arabian Business report, “Dubai could have a $5 billion moon building in the form of a destination resort, Canadian architectural company and intellectual property licensor, Moon World Resorts Inc. (MWR). Proposed and co-founded by Sandra G. Matthews and Michael R. Henderson, the resort is designed to be built in 48 months, and will have an overall height of 735 feet (224 metres).”

As per MWR co-founder Michael R. Henderson, Moon Dubai will bez the largest and most successful modern-day tourism project within the entire MENA region, doubling annual tourism visitations to Dubai based on its global appeal, brand awareness, and unique multiple integrated offerings.

Henderson added that once constructed, Moon Dubai is expected to add to the emirate’s economy in sectors such as hospitality, entertainment, attractions, education, technology, the environment and space tourism.

The moon resort’s lunar surface which will be surrounded by a ‘lunar colony’ is expected to permit 2.5 million guests, annually, to experience affordable space, according to the Arabian Business report.

The $5 billion project aims to complete it in 2 years, once approved. The Moon-shaped resort is expected to double the annual visitations to Dubai. The Services include an in-house “moon shuttle”, spa and wellness facilities, a lounge and convention centers. Henderson added that this would “firmly plant the UAE flag into the forefront of space exploration.”

The building is expected to have a training platform for space agencies and astronauts along with luxurious private residences called ‘Sky Villas’. Approximately 300 ‘Sky Villa’ units will be available for purchase, and their buyers will become members of an exclusive private members club.

The Project is proposed to work under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certificate, a 5-star built- out standard, and a 5-diamond resort functional standard.

Dubai, a laid out vacation spot, is hoping to have huge quantities of football fans during the World Cup in November and December because of a shortage of convenience in tiny Qatar. Dubai air terminal, the world’s most active for global travel pre-pandemic, took care of 27.8 million travelers in the primary portion of this current year, up in excess of 160% on a similar time of 2021, it said the month earlier.
