Visit Monaco and luxury lifestyle magazine, PEAKLIFE, came together to host the ‘Monaco Residential Conclave’ at the Leela, Goa on 16th and 17^th of March 2018. The two-day residential conclave focused on the theme of ‘Green is the New Glam’ and it laid emphasis on sustainable tourism and responsible luxury as the core of its conversations through the various engagement activities and discussions.

The Monaco Residential Conclave flagged off with welcome cocktails enjoyed at the lawns of the Leela, Goa, enjoyed over classical santoor and table played by Indian musicians. The ambient evening was marked by the formal dress-code and all the business leaders, travel enthusiasts, and wellness experts who turned up for the conclave put their best foot forward at the do. The proceedings of the conclave rolled on with a panel discussion on ‘Green is the New Glam’ which was moderated by well-known journalist Jamal Sheikh, who engaged in discussion with the head of the Principality of Monaco, and actor and environmental activist Huma Quereshi. The engaging session also opened to inputs from the audience which was well-participated in by the guests present. The engaging panel discussion was followed by an interesting wine tasting, or rather a blind-tasting for all guests by celebrity sommelier from Monaco, Dominique Milardi. A gala dinner with a fine spread of delectable fare ended the first day of the conclave.

The second day started rolling right after breakfast, as the guests gathered for a series of very interesting presentations from the partner hotels from Monaco. These presentations gave the guests and those travel enthusiasts who still have Monaco on their bucket lists, all the inviting details about the thrilling offerings of these properties. The elaborate presentations were followed by a wellness workshop by wellness expert, author, clinical hypnotherapist and Healer, Vesna Jacob. The engaging session gave the guests present a look into individual posture correction and the syncing in of the mind and soul along with the body to arrive at attaining holistic wellness.

The wellness session was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all, and the same was followed by another entertaining and engaging section of the conclave that involved the crowd being broken into teams of five – six, and undertaking various tasks and solving problems, which literally got the crowd on to the drawing boards and rushing against time to complete the tasks at hand. The competitive games only helped in further building up the comrade among the guests. The gala dinner in the evening saw everyone’s spirits soaring high, and celebratory spirit ruling as the order of the evening. A live band belting out the biggest hits from the retro playlist got the guests on the dance-floor. A tasting session of champagne marked the celebratory spirit of the evening and was hosted by Dominique Milardi, the celebrity sommelier from Monaco. The large multi-cuisine spread and overflowing bar made the culminating evening for the Monaco Residential Conclave in association with PEAKLIFE, a grand affair!
