Model 3 from Tesla, an all-electric sedan!

Model 3 from Tesla is an all-electric sedan, which according to the official website of Tesla is a ‘smaller, simpler and more affordable electric car.’ After all the Tesla Model 3 has been designed and built as the world’s first mass-market electric car. This makes the Model 3 a critical step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The official communication also clarifies that “Although it is our newest vehicle, Model 3 is not “Version 3” or the most advanced Tesla. Like Model S, it is designed to be the safest car in its class.”

Taking on some style notes from its ancestors – the model S, the Model X, and the Roadster – the all-new Model 3 stands apart in a league of its own. Like every Tesla vehicle, Model 3 combines range, performance, safety, and technology. The intelligent design maximizes interior space to comfortably fit five adults and all of their gear. The high-efficiency powertrain provides zero to 60 mph acceleration in as little as 5.1 seconds.

Model 3 is designed to achieve the highest safety ratings in every category. Combined with 220* to 310 miles of range and a starting price of $35,000 before incentives, Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable vehicle yet.Model 3 is currently in production, and deliveries to employee reservation holders began on July 28, 2017, at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, CA. Reservations for Model 3 first opened on March 31, 2016, and remain available today.

To tell you more about Tesla’s Model 3, here are some of the technical details that will leave you just as impressed as us. It comes with a standard battery that has a range of 220 miles, and a supercharging rate of 130 miles of range per 30 minutes, and a home charging rate of 30 miles of range per hour. Model 3 packs in some power in its performance that goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, and comes at a top speed of 130 mph.

The interiors are just as style packed as the exteriors. It comes with a 15” touchscreen display, a dual-zone climate control system, along with FM/Internet streaming radio, comfortable textile seating and a front center console with open storage and two USB ports.

The oodles of convenience comes in courtesy the facilities available in the form of onboard maps and navigation, Wi-Fi and LTE internet connectivity, along with a keyless entry and remote climate control using the Tesla app. There are also the voice-activated controls that come with a Bluetooth hands-free calling and media streaming. It has a 60/40 split folding rear seat to maximize cargo options, and a backup camera, an auto dimming rear-view mirror, and one-touch power windows throughout with power-adjustable side mirrors and a 12-volt power outlet.

Tesla leads the safety provisions of the vehicle with full LED exterior lighting, eight cameras, forward radar and twelve ultrasonic sensors enabling active safety technologies including collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking, along with six front row and two side curtain airbags. There are also three-point safety belts with belt-reminders for driver and four passengers. The care is equipped with two LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) attachments in the second row, and an electronic stability and traction control. The four-wheel antilock disc brakes with electronic parking brake ensure a safe and secure driving experience. The car also comes with child safety locks, anti-theft alarm system and a tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
