Morris Garages introduces MG Hector to India as a smart internet car for the first time in the country. It is built with an interactive system which recognizes & responds to commands, enabling an exciting experience on every ride.
Unboxing Hector to India for the first time giving an experience with enabled i-smart technology and a stunning design inside out. The car has been designed to give a human touch as much possible with artificial intelligence developed in their State of Art Facility.
The car’s design is inspired from Emotional Dynamism, which is a fusion of modern dance form with aviation power. The front has a large air intake just like the F35 plane and the interiors are a clear influence of modernism.
The inside of the car has 10.4-inch HD screen which is equipped with all functionality on a vertical screen, just like your phone. The i-smart serves entirely new features of connectivity by offer 50+ features. It is preloaded with content and has over the air updated. The dual pane panoramic sunroof offers maximum visibility and light and offers a choice of starry view. The car has 8 colours of ambient lighting which can be manually changed with your choice or can be set to automatic as well. A premium sound system by Infinity comes with amplifiers, providing phenomenal acoustic sound experience. It has a unique 7-inch display console which comes in line of sight with every necessary information.
Safety has always been a concerned for every person who drives. Keeping this an utmost priority, MG Hector has an industry standard plus, ESPN transaction control, three-point seatbelt for all passengers, child fixed anchors, rear brake, all included in the standard variant. The front parking sensors are equipped with a 360-degree camera increases convenience, safety, confidence and visibility all around the tight parking corners.
Additional features, like the outside rear view mirrors can be heated which gives visibility in moist and foggy conditions. The Tire Pressuring Monitoring System automatically checks the tire conditions even while driving and gives advanced alerts.
The car has 1.5 L Turbocharged petrol which gives 143 PS power & 250 nm torque, 2L Turbocharged diesel giving 170 PS & 350 Nm torque, and a dual clutch automatic transmission. It is industry’s first 48V Hybrid car. The lithium battery gives a faster response during start-stop conditions, regenerative braking & e-boost, providing the extra surge.
The MG Hector has a length of 4655 mm and the longest wheelbase of 2750 mm. It has undergone 300+ changes for Indian experience and been tested for 10 lakh kilometres.
The booking starts in early June and deliveries within June itself.
