The collection, photographed by Juergen Teller, celebrates Florence’s timeless charm and artistry.

Mumbai’s Gigi restaurant has partnered with Ether Atelier, the city’s premier luxury chocolatier, to launch two exclusive desserts that push the boundaries of chocolate artistry. Conceptualised by Chef Prateek Bhaktiani and crafted by Chef Beena Noronha, these creations blend sophisticated flavours with culinary innovation. The TRUFFLE features Colombian milk chocolate with black truffle and caramelised crepe, while OLIVE offers Dominican dark chocolate with sugar-glazed olives and green apple sorbet. 3. 1932 at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Introduces New Khmer Tasting Menus
Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor’s renowned fine-dining restaurant, 1932, has launched exclusive new Khmer tasting menus, elevating Cambodian cuisine to new heights. The updated menus, crafted by Executive Sous Chef Dorn Doeurt, feature locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, offering an authentic representation of Khmer flavors. Highlights include Bangkorng Takeo with freshwater lobster, Num Krouk rice cakes, and Sach Ko Lok Lak with Tajima striploin. The tasting menus are divided into historical periods, including the 1930s, 1950s, 1960s, and 1990s, each with optional wine pairings. These menus provide an unparalleled introduction to Cambodia’s rich culinary heritage.
4. Celebrate India’s Luxury Whisky Journey with Crazy Cock
South Seas Distilleries, India’s oldest malt distillery, has expanded its flagship luxury single malt brand, Crazy Cock, to Haryana. Launched in December 2023, Crazy Cock features two exquisite expressions: “RARE” and “DHUA.” Crazy Cock RARE is a full-bodied, unpeated whisky matured in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, delivering a rich profile with floral notes, honey, and spices. Starting October 4, 2024, award-winning artist Jayesh Sachdeva presents “Oorja: A Tapestry of Evolving Energy” at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai. This immersive, interactive exhibition invites visitors to engage with art beyond the visual—combining sound, touch, and cultural symbols to create a sensory exploration of transformation. 9. Nrityanjali Performing Arts Celebrates 20th Anniversary with ‘Nritya Varsha’ Dance Event
On October 20, 2024, Nrityanjali Performing Arts, led by Bharatnatyam maestros Apeksha Niranjan and Mitali Hasabnis, will celebrate 20 years of fostering classical dance through its annual event, ‘Nritya Varsha.’ Held at Marathi Sahitya Mandir, Vashi, the recital will showcase talented students and a special performance by Niranjan herself, titled Nariशक्ती (Narishakti)—The Hidden Power of Women. This powerful performance honours women’s inner strength, questioning their safety and empowerment in today’s world.
10. “Unseen Shadows”: A Duo Exhibition at Exhibit 320 Exploring Gender, Labour, and Resilience
Exhibit 320, a contemporary art gallery in New Delhi, presents Unseen Shadows, a powerful exhibition by artists Richa Arya and Deena Pindoria, running from 5th October to 4th November 2024. Curated by Lekha Poddar, the exhibition delves into themes of gender, invisibility, and women’s labour. Arya’s work reflects her rural Haryana roots, using industrial materials to depict the resilience of women whose contributions remain unseen. Pindoria’s Purdah Series explores seclusion and identity through handwoven fabrics and natural dyes, highlighting the veiled existence of women under societal constraints.
11. Celebrating the Legacy of Bimal Das Gupta
This November, Bimal Das Gupta: Tutelage—An Ode to a Legend will showcase the iconic artist’s first solo exhibition in 30 years. Presented by Dhoomimal Gallery and Gallery Silver Scapes at Travancore House, New Delhi, the exhibition highlights works from key phases of Das Gupta’s career, spanning from the 1940s to 1995. The exhibition will feature curated walk-throughs, talks, and conversations around the art of Bimal Das Gupta.
