If you’re looking to add some spice to your regular dressing, take note of these drool-worthy ensembles spotted at the Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Resort 2020.
The biggest fashion event in Mumbai, the Lakme Fashion Week drew to a close on the 16th of February 2020. A five-day-long extravaganza, the runway was filled with haute couture that we can’t wait to add to our wardrobe.
Paying tribute to its 20 year anniversary, the Summer/Resort 2020 edition, also marks the beginning of LFW 2.0 – a journey where the past will be revisited while building the future for the next 20 years. This year the platform focused on fashion sustainability through path-breaking initiatives while further spreading the message of inclusivity and diversity.
Designers including Shriya Som, Ridhi Mehra, Pankaj & Nidhi, Shahin Mannan, Amit Aggarwal, Kunal Rawal, Ritu Kumar were among those who showcased a stream of avant-garde silhouettes, multi-hued fabrics and intricately embellished ensembles on the runway.
