Expert Alkaa Punia shares about treating Hairfall from the Roots, naturally.
We all might have come across the general advice as we normally find on the internet is that, olive oil and egg or say honey plus bananas plus curd and egg etc. can make your hair look good or lustrous, which is quite monotonous, but I somehow feel it is very important to know the root cause behind hair fall to treat it.
Always know the cause behind hair fall to fix it once & for all
To fight hair fall it is very important to know the root cause behind the hair fall before we jump to buy hair fall control shampoo/ conditioner/ serums/oils etc.
Some of the commonly found causes of hair fall include the scalp infection, hormonal imbalance, poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, stress, an autoimmune disorder, thyroid disorder, PCOD, and kidney malfunctioning.
Treating the Hairfall
Treating each of the hair fall cause varies in terms of treatment and also to seek best and long term results we must address it holistically.
Scalp Infection
For instance, a person with scalp infection should seek an experts help to know the kind of infection and also what is it that is causing the infection? Because scalp infection could simply be because of using oils, gels and at times due to intense dryness. And scalp infection may not be visible to a layman’s eye unless it is thick, scaly fungal infection but such invisible infection on scalp make the hair follicle very fragile and tend to lose hair from the area increases and it also spreads.
Treatment: Herbs and their essential oils can be used to treat fungal infection on scalp such as Ginger, Turmeric, Apple cider vinegar (which must be always diluted before using).
Alopecia
Similarly, for an autoimmune disorder related hair conditions like Alopecia –it is very important that we take a healthy diet that supplies need nutrients to hair for it to grow back and stay strong.
Treatment: Intake of spinach, carrots, black carrots, beetroots plus food rich in omega 3 must be taken in good quantity. Also one can apply pure cold pressed oils of neem, flaxseed, babchi, kalonji and herbs like liquorice, fenugreek, and lavender really help provide needed nutrients and nourishment.
So anytime you start experiencing hair fall and its last for more than a month then certainly it is not a seasonal hair fall which is normally during the rainy season around July August and sometimes around December. If it lasts more than a month then it’s some disorder in the body taking a toll on hair. It is a sign and you need to get this diagnosed and follow the treatment needed.
Here are more recipes to keep your hair shiny and strong and these recipes will also help reduce hair fall during seasonal hair fall time.
