The bespoke travel outfitter Natural World Safaris is taking a 13-day photographic expedition to the continent, led by Canon accredited wildlife photographer Andy Rouse. Travelling on-board the M/V Akademik Ioffe, this expedition will offer seven full days on the continent – two more than most standard Antarctic expeditions – as well as longer tundra landings by zodiac to understand this magical destination.

Calving icebergs, breaching whales, deep-diving seals and cavorting penguins are just a few of the marvellous sights visitors can expect to encounter. Renowned photographer emphasise the adventure that it is to survive on this, the most extreme continent. Then there are the intangibles: space, silence, remoteness and dramatic vistas which can be captured.
