IWC Family Unites for ‘Time Well Shared’

The global IWC family has launched its new initiative ‘Time Well Shared’ to adopt positive and good spirit as the world faces a health crisis.

International Watch Company (IWC) Schaffhausen has introduced an initiative called “Time Well Shared” to motivate the people especially during the time of COVID-19. Through this initiative, IWC employees, brand ambassadors, and partners will be sharing their time, knowledge, experience and passion through various digital channels. To inspire people to make the most of their time, entertaining and supporting everyone while keeping them connected and engaged.

According to Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO, IWC Schaffhausen, “In these extraordinary times, we would like to reach out to people with a message of solidarity, hope, and positivity. Through our spontaneous initiative, we want to offer a new way of staying in touch with the IWC family.”

Time Well Shared comprises online lectures, speeches, and webinars that IWC will publish on social media and digital channels in the coming weeks. The TED Talk-style series will include contributors from IWC brand ambassadors like Tom Brady, Fabian Cancellara, David Coulthard, and Maro Engel, as well as partners such as Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1, Tottenham Hotspur, Laureus Sport for Good, Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation, Solaris Yachts and Orlebar Brown.

This exclusive content will also feature David Seyffer, curator of the IWC Museum who will share insights into the history of IWC, as well as former Director of Marketing and Sales, Hannes Pantli who will divulge some never-before-told IWC anecdotes for good old sake.

All contributions will be accompanied by a button to make voluntary donations, with IWC making the first donation. Viewers can help raise funds to support Save the Children, an NGO programme that protects children and families in countries that are affected by the virus, increate support for national health systems, and raise awareness among parents and caregivers on how to provide psychosocial support for children.
