CSK & Dhoni are being widely discussed despite losing the match
With 4 IPL trophies in the cabinet, Mumbai Indians celebrates their win against a nail-biting match with Chennai Super Kings. The finale match of IPL was filled with twists and turns at every hour that proceeded. Despite of MI being the winner, cricket fanatics are still talking about CSK.
CSK’s captain MS Dhoni did acknowledge his team’s weakness through the season and would reflect on how they reached in the finals. He described the match as ‘passing trophies’ from one team to another. He became the most successful wicketkeeper in the history of IPL with his numbers being 132, surpassing Dinesh Karthik who is on 131.
MI’s skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat, setting the target of 150 runs for CSK. The match was still unpredictable till Malinga was defending nine runs from the last six deliveries. Shane Watson scored smashing 80 in 59 balls in the end. CSK was close to winning till Dhoni’s controversial run-out came as the game-changing moment and still can’t be digested by CSK fans, causing a stir on social media.
What is your take on CSK- do you think Dhoni’s run out is a run out?
