Hyundai launches the first ever Electric SUV in Indian Automotive Market today 9 July 2019.
After long time period, spy shots, promotional campaigns finally Hyundai launched their Electric Compact-SUV in India. The all new Hyundai Kona EV looks very decent as well as stylish in design, it almost has same body size as similar to its siblings such as Creta, Tucson etc and offers enough Interior Space for 5 adults. Hyundai offers 2 variants in their Kona both of these variants have lithium-ion battery pack of 39 kWh and 64 kWh. The 39kWh battery pack generates 134.13 BHP and 395 NM of torque this battery offers the 312 KM range in a single charge and need almost 6 hours to get refilled. Whereas the 64 kWh battery pack generates 201.2 BHP and 395 NM of torque and offer 482 KM range in a single charge and jumps to 100 kmph in just 7.6 seconds it needs almost 9 hours to get refilled.
Hyundai also offer 100 kWh DC fast charger which can refill the battery up-to 80% in just 54 minutes. It also comes with lost of features such as 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and many more. If we look at the safety aspects of this Electric Compact-SUV so, it also comes with 6 Airbags, Blind Spot Detection, ABS, Hill-Start Assist, Reverse Camera, Real Time Traffic Alert, Autonomous emergency braking and many more.

In the Electric car market, Hyundai still do not have any rival yet but MG is also going to launch their eZS expectedly in December 2019 and it could be the rival of Hyundai Kona.
