Announced way back in January this year in Las Vegas, the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music GPS Smartwatch was finally launched in India on 23rd June 2018. The Forerunner 645 Music is the company’s first smartwatch to support on-device music storage. PEAKLIFE gives you all the details about this latest must-have smartwatch.
The Garmin Forerunner watch has a storage system that can store up to 500 songs. So you don’t always need to carry your smartphone if you want to enjoy songs on the go. It comes with a Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor, barometric sensor, altimeter, compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, and a thermometer. The smartwatch can track calories burned, floors climbed, distance traveled, fitness age, stress, as well as sleep. There are built-in activity profiles for running, cycling, swimming, elliptical, paddle sports, strength training, and more. Additionally, the Forerunner 645 Music GPS smartwatch can provide advanced running dynamics such as ground contact time balance, stride length, vertical ratio, and more. When it comes to battery, Garmin claims the smartwatch provides up to 7 days of stamina in smartwatch mode and 5 hours in GPS mode with music.
This smartwatch can be more of help by downloading apps of your liking, widgets, watch faces and other different things through the Connect IQ store. Some of the apps currently available on the Connect IQ store include Uber, SmartThings, AccuWeather MinuteCast, and more. On being paired with your smartphone, the Forerunner 645 Music will also allow you to receive and respond to text messages, view social media updates, emails, and more.
