F1’s fav night race is back in Bahrain

Formula 1’s favorite night race is back and Bahrain International Circuit is happy to host another brilliant spectacle under the desert stars. “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” will be front and center once again on the international stage, with the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix grabbing the global spotlight from April 6 to 8, 2018. The Sakhir event will mark the second of 21 rounds on the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, following the season-opening meeting in Australia.

Motorsport’s elite will be lining up on the grid for another epic 57-lap battle, including superstar talents such as Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen and so many more. Aside from Formula 1, a number of international support series will also be taking to the tarmac; while a wide variety of off-track family entertainment will keep race-goers coming back for more throughout the three-day extravaganza.

This year ten-time GRAMMY® winner Carlos Santana is bringing his celebrated Divination Tour to Bahrain International Circuit on April 6. This will be Carlos Santana’s first in Bahrain, where he will be performing passion-infused songs from over four decades of his career, including his hits from Woodstock to Supernatural and beyond. The 2017 Bahrain Grand Prix saw a record crowd of 33,000 on race day and 93,000 over the weekend, with the Main Grandstand, Paddock Club and corporate boxes all sold out for the first time ever. Expect an even greater turnout in 2018 as the popularity of motorsport in the region, spearheaded by the Bahrain race, reaches an all-time high.
