  1. Majuli Island, Assam:

Set amidst the mighty river Brahmaputra, Majuli Island is around 450 sq km, it one of the islands on the largest river. The island was formed due to course change by the river Brahmaputra and its tributaries, mainly the Lohit. Majuli has a rich and diverse culture, with no artificial technology and fertilizers over 100 varieties of rice are grown here.One can see the traditional forms of handicrafts, like handlooms, fishing and pottery.

 

  1. Champaner, Gujarat

Located in north-west India, Champaner is a UNESCO certified World Heritage Site in Gujarat. The Pavagadh hill is said to be one of the oldest rock formations in India with composed of reddish-yellow colored stone. The hill is about 800m above sea level.The interesting things explore here are the 8th to 16th century archeological remains.

The very co-existence of Jain, Hindu, and Islamic places of worship makes Champaner more unique. One can see impressive structure of Jama Masjid with confluence of Hindu and Islamic styles in the architecture.

Ross and Smith Island is a beautiful twin islands in Andaman and Nicobar Islands group. Considered by many as the most beautiful islands in the archipelago, the turquoise blue waters, tropical forests, nature trails, virgin beaches and picturesque village makes this a perfect destination. Located about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers. Snow-capped by the Himalayan ranges, Nubra valley lies between Tibet and Kashmir. During winter, the whole valley looks like landscape of the moon and in summer full of greenery.The view of the valley is picturesque and breathtaking.

 

  1. Tawa,Madhai, Madhya Pradesh
