However, for years we’ve felt that such technology has always been priced out of reach for several Indians. Top of the line sneakers from international brands are priced at Rs. 12,000-18,000. Our goal with the ARC RACER was to have the same latest sneaker tech (ETPU sole cushioning and a 3D Knit upper) and make it available at one-third the price of the established international brands.” Kunal Joshi adds, “We do this by selling online direct-to-consumer, which enables us to cut out the excess retail mark-ups, sales commissions & large sums paid to brand ambassadors by global brands and pass on the savings to customers”.
