DJI has launched its new lightest and smallest drone ever, starting at INR 28,000.
DJI’s newly launched UAV, Mavic Mini is the lightest and smallest ever drone from the Chinese manufacturer. Weighing at just 249 grams, this foldable drone comes packed with state-of-the-art features to make both drone flying and aerial photography fun and easily accessible without compromising on quality.
This UAV is the smallest in its segment and users need not get prior permission from the respective civil aviation authorities. The Mavic Mini has a maximum range of 4km or 2.5 miles and has a flight time of 30 minutes.
The drone’s camera can shoot videos up to 2.7k footage at 30 frames per second, 1080p footage at 60 frames per second and 12 megapixel stills through a 24mm f/2.8 lens.
The drone also has GPS with dual-band Wi-Fi transmitter for Live HD feeds with stability control. GPS is included and the dual-band Wi-Fi transmitter caters for HD live feed and stable control via the dedicated remote.
The Chinese UAV major has also incorporated safety features like geofencing (to avoid restricted areas), altitude limits and auto return for low battery or if the user loses connection.
The Mavic Mini is priced at $399, approx. 28,000 in INR.
