Tag Heuer launches its Connected Modular 45 for the gadget freaks and watch lovers.
TAG Heuer is forging ahead in the premium smart watch trade with the release of their second Android Wear watch officially named the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45.
TAG Heuer has worked closely with Intel and Google to create a luxury watch which combines connectivity and smart technology with Swiss watchmaking expertise.
The Carrera model of the Avante-grade watchmakers’ packs with even more features than its precursor with a total of 56 different designs, with 11 standard models and 45 others on request.
Made from satin or polished grade 5 titanium, or plated with 18K 5N rose gold, or in black ceramic, with or without diamonds. There are more modular options, the lug, strap, buckle and in particular case – its central module is interchangeable elements. It also includes a COSC-certified chronograph Heuer-02T tourbillon mechanical movement if that’s your wish.
The strap alone comes in: rubber, natural leather or anthracite grey leather, titanium or ceramic.
About the technical aspect of the smartwatch, expect a sharper transflective screen, sapphire glass cover, Intel Atom process, 4 GB of memory and connectivity option such as Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC, which powers tap-to-pay functionality including Android Pay.
It works with both iPhones and Android and goes with Android Wear 2.0 operating system which is paired with a bright 1.39-inch AMOLED 400×400-pixel resolution display to allow users to view anything from emails to apps with an ease.
The company also promises a full day battery life approximately 30 hours and 50-metre water resistance for those who wish to take for swimming.
The Swiss made watch price starts at $1600 (Rs. 1, 05,200 approximately)
