Michelin-starred Chef Marcel Ravin recently presented his culinary treasures at the Monaco Organic Food Festival held in Mumbai, India.
Monaco Government Tourism Bureau India along with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) recently organized the Monaco Organic Food Festival starring the Principality’s beloved – Chef Marcel Ravin. The event was hosted at Vetro, The Oberoi, Mumbai from 26th September 2019 to 29th September 2019.
The four-day festival opened with exclusive gourmet tables for elites like Celebrity Influencers, Industry Socialites, Media Personalities, and top-notch Corporates and The Senior Delegation from Monaco Government Tourist Authority. The Indian Spice Trail Tour followed after, awarding the star chef.
Child of the Caribbean, Chef Marcel entailed a superb culinary showcase ‘From Monaco with Love’ where the tasting menus were bonafide with inspiration from his native land and infused with the rich flavors of his signature dishes – Organic Egg with Truffle, Cassava and Maracuja juice (passion fruit in creole), and his Signature dessert – Chocolate and Passion Fruit Partition with Cocoa Bean & Passion Fruit Sauce.
Delighted to present his yummy themes for the first time in India, Chef Marcel expressed, “I have been waiting for so long to come to India, this is a dream that has come true for me. It was such an experience in the Oberoi kitchen to share our knowledge with the Indian Chefs. In fact, it was easy because we share the same passion. Cooking is all about love and sharing; when you cook you put your soul in your recipes. I am very inspired and intend to create new dishes fusing the flavor of Indian spices I brought back from Mumbai. It will be called “De retour d’Inde” meaning “Coming back from India.”
