The Monaco Yacht Show
The 2020 Monaco Yacht Show held at Port Hercules is the ideal destination for all yacht enthusiasts to view more than 120 customized superyachts all in one place. This four-day event hosts yacht builders, designers and equipment suppliers exhibiting the new technologies in yacht industry. This is the only event in the world that is dedicated to the sale of superyachts that are more than 100m in length. The next edition of MYS as it is commonly called would be from 23rd-26th September 2020 and is one of the most anticipated events not only in Monaco but also globally. The 2020 edition is said to play host to 120 yachts officially with a secondary fleet of yachts available for viewing opposite Monaco’s dock
Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival
The Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival has bagged the reputation of bringing the biggest stars to its stage. The 2019 edition saw stupendous performances by Rihanna, John Legend, Vanessa Paradis, Mariah Carey, Kirkorov, Frank Sinatra, and many more legendary stars. Held annually at the prestigious Salle des Etoiles, the festival manages to put Monaco at the top ever since. Each performance is equally breathtaking and the venue along with the view of the Mediterranean adds an electric experience.
Monaco International Firework Festival
Since 1966, a throng of people from all over the region gather to see some unique and spectacular fireworks at Port Hercule. Monaco’s annual international fireworks festival “Art en Ciel” takes place over four weekends from late July to early August. In the end, it’s a competition where the winner showcases their masterpiece on the evening preceding November 18th which happens to be Monaco’s National Day. Traditionally, the fireworks begin at 9:30 pm and visitors can find several spots to enjoy the view. Most popular spots include several restaurants and cafes, the palace area and the walls of Fort Antoine
Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival
Commenced in 2006, The Monaco Jazz Festival has received support from HSH Prince Albert II. As loyal as it sounds, the festival truly reflects the music of jazz with tradition at its core without being fully inspired by all the music in the world. The 14th edition of this festival will be held from November 16th-1st December 2019 and will feature some of the world’s greatest jazz artists and musicians in a two-week celebration. This year’s lineup includes Ludovico Einaudi, Herbie Hancock and Ibrahim Maalouf.
International Festival of Circus
The Monte Carlo International Circus Festival is one of the most important circus events in all of Europe. The 11-day event would be held from 16th-26th January 2020 at Chapiteau of Monaco and is bound to showcase the largest and most prestigious circus events in the world. Only the best international acts are presented annually at the festival and would be broadcasted around the world. Circus artists such as acrobats, animal tamers and clowns, leading in their profession would participate in this festival.
The Bal de La Rose
Presently, this spectacle is chaired by H.S.H. The Reigning Prince Albert II and H.R.H. Princess Caroline of Hanover, Bal de la Rose or The Rose Ball helped create what Monaco is renowned for today, it symbolizes glamour and fascinates many people globally. The next edition of the Rose Ball would be held on 21st March 2020 in the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. The event takes on a different theme each year and is represented by artists, novel trends. It has a different aura and attracts people who wish to feel the fairy-tale of Monaco.
