AMBER FORT
Amber Fort is another landmark in Jaipur. It is located in the Aravalii hill overlooking Lake Maota. The fort was constructed in the 16th century using marble and red stone. It was constructed to act as a palace to the royal king, making it a modern-day royal palace. It consists of gates, cobbled paths, tamparts, courtyards, temple and a 12-kilometre perimeter wall. The fort yard is serene, romantic and fascinating.
