Once you have a fully grown beard, it becomes imperative to take proper care of it, keeping it healthy and manageable.
Wash Beard with Shampoo
To avoid any itchiness or irritation, it is necessary to wash your bear with a natural shampoo at least 2-3 times a week. This will not only keep the beard clean but will also prevent any sweat or oil assembling in the beard. Facial hair needs equal care as scalp hair and regular shampoo works equally well.
Keep Your Beard Hydrated and Conditioned
In order to have a well maintained and soft beard, you can use good beard oil or beard cream to condition the beard and maintain the shine. Beard oils use natural ingredients and essential oils and extracts. It not only moisturises the skin but also prevents flakes and itchiness.
Don’t Ignore the Moustache
Growing a well maintained beard also means growing a perfect moustache. You can keep it neat by trimming it every three to four days, thus, keeping the hairs at bay. Trim the area under the nose with a pair of grooming scissors and keep it shining with some wax.
Balanced Diet
Facial hair is made from protein and fat, so to have a proper growth you must incorporate Vitamin B5, B3 and B9 in the form of lean meats, nuts, egg yolks, milk and green vegetables. This would help in develop perfect facial hair that is well fed.
Beard Needs To Be Combed
A well groomed beard is incomplete without a perfect comb. Beard combs are an essential in maintaining your beard. They are not only a great styling tool, but they help get the desire look that you want. Used daily just like combing your scalp hair, beard will grow in the direction that you always wanted, thus maintaining your preferred style. A good comb can make all the difference between a rough and a softer well-groomed beard by evenly distributing beard cream or oil.
