Serving Splendor
The Chefs presented their first look at an exclusive Italian Masterclass under the open sky at San Gimignano Lawns, featuring a few of their signature recipes from their respective regions. The session was organized in close alliance with Chef Prem K Pogakula, Executive Chef at The Imperial, to blend the classic and contemporary Italian with progressive cooking techniques for the discerning audience. The recipes featured Fiesole style potato dumplings with fresh tomato and basil along with the classic Tiramisu by Chef Fabrizio and Risotto Con Aspargi Bianchi (White asparagus risotto) by Chef Gatto.

Vijay Wanchoo, Sr. Executive VP, and GM, The Imperial while addressing the media fraternity on this lovely winter afternoon said, “We are delighted to associate with Belmond Hotels, Italy and elevate the authentic and award-winning Tuscan dining experience at San Gimignano at The Imperial. We have also been told that the Executive Chef of The Imperial, New Delhi, Prem Kumar Pogakula along with another chef from the hotel, will also be going to Belmond Villa San Michele, Florence and Belmond Hotel Cipriani to promote Indian cuisine in Italy, later this year.
