The mega electronics conglomerate from China, Xiaomi has recently raised the curtains on its brand-new range of smart TVs in its home country. This range of new televisions is available for pre-booking in China, with shipments scheduled to begin May 31 – the day the company is expected to launch its next-gen flagship smartphone, the Mi 8.
Xiaomi has recently launched a series of new smart TV models in the company’s home country, China. The company has introduced four new Mi TV models which are – the Mi TV 4C, Mi TV 4X, and the Mi TV 4S. The range is available in display sizes from 32 inches to 55 inches and is very effectively priced (and that’s what is making all the buzz) starting at approximately Rs. 10,600 to Rs. 35,100. Xiaomi Mi TV 4C
The Mi TV 4C features a 32-inch panel with a WXGA resolution of 1366×768 pixels with a price tag of RMB 999 (approximately Rs 10,600). The TV comes with a 178-degree viewing angle, a 6.5ms response time, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the TV is a 1.5GHz ARM Advanced multi-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. For connectivity, the Mi TV 4C supports 2x HDMI ports 1x AV port, 1x USN port, 1x Ethernet port, S/PDIF, and an analog signal Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast (DTMB). Similar to past Mi TV variants, the Mi TV 4C also runs Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI that comes pre-loaded with a slew of app and features.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4S
Mi TV 4S has been launched in two variants; one is a high-end 55-inch version with a price of Yuan 3299, while the other has a 43-inches display and a price of Yuan 1799. Mi TV 4S in 55-inches flaunts a curved 4K resolution display with 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree viewing angle. Smart TV also features a 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage. While 43-inch variant is powered by a quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. 43-inches Mi TV 4S has a 4K Ultra HD display as well with 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree viewing angle. Both the 43-inch and 55-inch variants support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with other connectivity options such as 2x HDMI port (3x on the 55-inch variant), 1x AV port, 2x USB ports, 1x Ethernet port, 1x S/PDIF, and an analog signal DTMB port. On the software front, both the variants run Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI with a slew of pre-loaded features.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4X
The Mi TV 4X has been launched in a single 55-inch display size with 3840×2160 pixels 4K HDR resolution. It is powered by an Amlogic SoC with a 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU. In addition to that, there’s 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The device comes with Dolby audio, while connectivity options include 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB ports, 1x AV Input, and 1x S/PDIF. The all-new 55-inch Mi TV 4X carries a price-tag of 2,799 yuan (around Rs. 29,800).
This new range of televisions is available for pre-booking in China, with shipments scheduled to begin May 31 which is also the day when the company is expected to launch its next-gen flagship smartphone, the Mi 8.
