For a relaxing day out in the principality, sunbathe on the one and only larvotto beach which is located on the avenue princess grace. The beach also has a handiplage site which welcomes people with disabilities and reduced mobility to enable them to enjoy swimming in the sea. As a boon for the partially sighted users, the seaside can be enjoyed in complete freedom and safety. With soft sand, glittering summer sunshine, numerous restaurants, alongside volleyball court and playground area for kids, larvotto beach is one of the gems of Monaco. The beautiful sea views here are a real pleasure to one’s eyes.
A modern town, Monaco has extended its territory by reclaiming land from the sea; one shouldn’t definitely miss the Fontvieille district rising up from the water. To start the Fontvieille walk, they should embark on the sculpture path and discover beautiful monumental works by world-famous artists. Next, making their way to the heart shaped rose garden.
To experience traditional Monaco, a visit to the local markets at La Condamine is a must. The Esplanade is surrounded by shaded arcades, making it a popular sport for locals to congregate. A perfect adventure trail for all the hikers. THE European trail covers 5000 kilometres in 342 stages. There are five separate trails, from which the red trail is the longest as it connects Trieste to Monaco. Trekking the Via Alpina is an incredible experience in itself.
