Popular luxury brand Louis Vuitton recently made headlines with the opening of a new lounge at Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, Qatar. The lounge opened just above the Louis Vuitton store and is part of the brand’s expansion into hospitality. The lounge at Doha airport will mark the brand’s ninth culinary project, showcasing its dedication to expanding its reach beyond the realm of fashion. The addition seeks to enhance the experience of Qatar Airways passengers by elevating travel and providing an unforgettable journey.

Experience True Luxury

This luxury lounge has been opened in partnership with Qatar Airways. The interior of the space includes furnishings from known names in the world of design including India Mahdavi’s low tables and Martin Eisler’s Costela armchairs. First and business-class passengers flying with Qatar Airways can avail a variety of benefits at the lounge. A restaurant attached to the lounge will serve as one of its standout features. The menu has been curated by Chef Yannick Alleno, who has been awarded three Michelin stars. It will highlight the various local specialties from Qatar, infused with local spices and ingredients such as saffron, nuts, lime, and cinnamon.

The LV lounge will be an addition to the already existing lounges like Al Safwa First Lounge and Al Mourjan Business Lounge at the airport. The airport is adding the lounge in addition to expanding several routes over the upcoming travel season.

Expansion of Operations at Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways recently announced the resumption of flights between Doha and Bahrain, a route that was suspended for nearly six years due to the Qatar blockade. Gulf Air will also operate on the same route, offering passengers more options for travel. Both airlines plan to operate the route using Airbus A320 aircraft, with 14 flights between the two destinations.
