To celebrate the prestigious Monaco Historic Grand Prix in 2022, TAG Heuer launches the Monaco Gulf Special Edition – a timepiece eagerly awaited by watch collectors.

For decades, TAG Heuer has had a strong and enduring bond with the Principalities’ motorsport events. As proof, the brand is not only the official sponsor of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix but also the Official Watch of the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix and the Official Watch Partner of the Monaco Top Cars Collection Museum. Encapsulating the spirit of this grand racing festival set to commence this year, TAG Heuer has introduced the Monaco Gulf Special Edition.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf timepiece embodies the passion for motorsport that drives TAG Heuer and its lasting partner Gulf. For the 2022 edition, TAG Heuer and Gulf celebrate once again this shared passion with a stunning version of the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Edition. More refined, with a beautiful design and the in-house Heuer 02 movement that is housed in the fine brushed and polished steel case, the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition is a true eye-catcher.

For this new special edition, the design of the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf continues to be based on the three iconic colors of Gulf but this time in a more contemporary color combination: the special dark blue, turquoise, and orange. Focusing on the watch’s dial, the sleek Gulf touches are mixed with the refined aesthetic of the TAG Heuer Monaco. The Gulf accents have also been featured in an elegant way and for the first time, the three colors are present on the minute sub-counters at 3 o’clock, too. A premiere in the Monaco Gulf watch editions, the Gulf logo on the dial is totally white. To emphasize the elegance of the watch, the opaline sunray brushed dial brings to the watch an interesting aesthetic duality.

On the back, the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition has a unique version of the oscillating mass and column wheel with a special engraving colored to match the Gulf orange Pantone. To complete the sporty but sophisticated look of the watch, the strap is made of perforated blue calfskin leather and an orange lining. The TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition watch comes with a new packaging featuring a box and a special travel pouch, also using the refreshed Gulf colors.
